I was really surprised by how much I loved everything I used. The YSL Pure Chromatics No.6 eye shadow quad applied beautifully dry, with minimal fallout. The MAC Let's Skate! Paint Pot (Holiday 2011) was way prettier than I could have imagined. It made everything brighter, with a beautiful, glittery glow.
What blew me away the most was how *perfect* the Laura Mercier Rose Rendezvous Illuminator (Holiday 2011) was/is. It's a rose gold that works on even the palest of the pales. You can sheer it down very easily, and I didn't notice any exaggeration of fine lines or pores. Lastly, the new YSL Rouge Pur Couture Golden Lustre lipsticks are glorious. I've dubbed 108 Ocre Rose the "My Lips But So Much Better"/MLBSMB of my lifetime. Well, lifetime is a little dramatic. So, I'll say for the next 6 months to a year. Regardless, this shade is a gorgeous, natural pink with a tasteful, golden sheen. #loveit

ReplyDeleteI think my lips were too pigmented for the 108. It just looked too sheer when I tried the tester. The 113 was amazing though! I ended up picking up that Rose illuminator at Sephora. I had to hunt it down! This is a beautiful look! :D

But, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it applied and wore. Totally shocked. And, I can't say enough good about the LM Illuminator. My skin? There's not a secret, really. I use Clean & Clear Sensitive Foaming face wash and Vanicream Lite Lotion. If I wear any face makeup, I use the Clarisonic to get all the makeup off. I could probably use some like..pore shrinking miracle potion for my nose, but I kinda don't really care :/
