Your Inglot haul is amazing! I always wanted to try these but the sheer number of colours are mind boggling. It is hard to decide with only online swatches. The colours you picked are very gorgeous.
Thanks, hon! It was a hoot and a holler, as we say back home..lol. Omg, the site is a complete nightmare. I can't even figure out how to put stuff in my cart..lol. I'd say it's def worth a check out, if you have a store in your area :) <333 xxx
Ooh, they look purrrty. I've only ever tried an Inglot lipstick. Don't remember the number, but it was verrry similar to the YSL RVP in that pale lilac colour. It was pretty, but I have lost it in my cupboard somewhere.
Finally got my Chanel Blue Satin (I've been on a waitlist), so excited to mani-up tomorrow night! Also got a top up of one of my favorite pedi colours, OPI Cajun Shrimp. Been meaning to ask, did you give Stila Kitten e/s a go? How was it? I'm tossing up getting it.
Thanks! I'm really impressed with the shadows. I didn't play around with anything else in the store, so I'm pretty clueless as to the rest of it. You got Blue Satin? Yay! You'll have to let me know what you think of it. Kitten? UGH, I still haven't tried it :/ Lol, I suck so bad. It's just..yeah. Buy buy buy. Wear? Not really...lmao. Thanks for the lovely comment, Monique! :) <33 xxx
I usually hate when people deviate from the topic and ramble but your ramblings are so hilarious to listen to! I bought an Inglot 10 pan palette many moons ago and it's amazing. I wish I had known about that $5 depotting tool though! I must go get it the next time I go to Inglot.... Love the colors you chose and I definitely have to check out some of their mattes. But the depth of the shimmer shadows never fails to impress me. When I bought my palette it was still $50 for the whole thing. How much did it cost altogether with the palette now? $60?
I tagged you for a Cute Blog Award here: http://angelicbb.blogspot.com/2012/01/cute-blog-award.html. It would be awesome if you could respond to the tag and join in too :)
Lol, thank you! You're so sweet to say that. In your defense, I think the magnetic spatula thinger is new, from what people are telling me on YT. I think it's kinda stupid that they JUST came out with it recently. I haven't checked yet, but people are also saying they can't find it on Inglot's site, so idk. Your local store *should* have the spatula :P I think (after tax) my palette and shadows came to a little over 70 bucks. Thank you for the tag! TBH, I don't really understand how these work on blogs, but I'm going to definitely see if I can figure out how to tag you :P Thanks so much for the sweet comment :) <3 xxx
So intrigued by Inglot, but overwhelmed, too. You chose gorgeous colors! I love the Bordeaux-ish and Fig-ish colors- I can never resist these deep jewel tones. And the packaging is pure utilitarian goodness.
I also wanted to say how much I love the Burberry eyeshadows- I think they're really underrated. Trench is such a perfect base (so much nicer than MAC Blanc Type or even RBR Papyrus Canary), because it's utterly soft with a satin, not matte finish. This is the first e/s I have ever hit pan on! I also recently got Antique Rose and Chestnut, and they are so perfect- blendable, dimensional color that you cannot overdo. I think Pale Barley falls into the Rosewood camp- sophisticated sheen that plays well with others. And Midnight Brown is fantastic- good choice.
Lol! Girl, I totally know what you mean. From an online shopping standpoint, this brand is a nightmare. One really needs to be in a store to be able to navigate around. Their site is literally one of the worst I've ever seen/tried to use o.O
OMG, I just got in Pale Barley today, and it's so gorgeous. I only did a hand swatch, but wow...so shiny and beautiful. I couldn't find a MAC dupe or anything. Closest shade color-wise was Suspect out of the UD Naked 2 palette. And, the quality isn't up to snuff in the palette, anyway. Loving Burberry. I totally want to buy a couple blushes soon. Oooh, I'm definitely going to gewgle image Trench. You hit pan?!? Lol, that's kinda crazy. I know how you roll..as you're a big buyer. So, hitting pan must mean something! Someone on YT told me about Antique Rose, as well. I'm thinking I might be at this counter this weekend...so...yeah. Wish me luck on not getting dumped by my husband! Lol. <33 xxx
Meekster!! Yeah, my little hopes and dreams of finding a pretty decent dupe happened! You're going to be super impressed with the textures of both the Mattes and the Pearls. The Mattes are like..a softer version of MAC's Matte 2s..and the Pearls and like the Starflashes, only they have zero fallout. They're just so mindless to apply, which is...wonderful. And, 5 bucks? GLORIOUS! Lol. I'm excited to hear your Inglotting tale!! :) <333 xxx

Oh - thanks for the tip on 326 being a dupe of Signed Sealed! And I just checked and we actually have an Inglot store near me. Whew.

DeleteHi Rachel, it's redheadphd from youtube. Did you go to the Inglot in New York or Garden State Plaza? They're both quite the hike...
