Rouge Bunny Rouge Blush, Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks and a YSL Lipstick

Rouge Bunny Rouge Delicata blush functions as a subtle contour shade for pale skin, whilst the Gracilis adds a bit of a natural pink presence. The packaging of these blushes might not be A+ (in my book), but the textures are very smooth and blend into the skin seamlessly. You can't even tell that you're wearing a powder.

The Laura Mercier Caviar sticks are just brilliant (I'm British now, btw). But seriously, I've never been a big LM'er, but between the Rose Rendezvous Illuminator and these bad boys, she's almost got me converted. Amethyst, in particular, is a must-have for pretty much everyone. It's a confusing mixture of brown/purple/taupe, with gorgeous micro-glitter flecks (that do *not* fall down). The video doesn't even do Amethyst justice.

Lastly, the Rouge Volupte Perle 115 Shimmering Coral is nothing short of glorious. The last couple releases of the RVPs have been consistently impressive, with a much easier feel and formulation to that of the OG Rouge Voluptes. They're not as crazy pigmented, and as such, wear more as a standard lipstick. 116 Milky Pink is also beautiful, but I think Shimmering Coral is the more dazzling of the two.

Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow 21 Midnight Brown

When Burberry first launched, I had zero interest. I've seen various blog posts and YT vids that showcased some pretty things, but I never felt dazzled or as though I needed to try anything. It wasn't until I saw swatches of one of the newest shadows (22 Pale Barley), that I knew a visit to a Burberry counter was necessary/imminent. 22 Pale Barley wasn't stocked at the counter yet, so naturally, I had to leave with something. That "something" turned into Sheer Eye Shadow 21 Midnight Brown.

21 Midnight Brown reminds me of MAC Mulch, but not as dark, "true" brown, or rough in texture. This color is somewhere between a sable brown and a beige-toned, warm taupe. This shadow literally glides on the skin, leaving a beautiful glow and sheen. There is *zero* fallout, and the color could blend out for days. It's rare to find a brown-based eye shadow that can work as an all-over wash. I applied this shadow all over the lower lid, up into and past the crease, blending out the top line with a tapered blending brush. I didn't use a base or eye primer, which made the result all the more impressive (to me, at least).

A glowing, smoldering, smokey eye with only one shadow? Don't mind if I do. #smoldering

Haul Video: Rouge Bunny Rouge Eye Shadows and Lip Products

As I mentioned in my post regarding Abyssinian Catbird eye shadow, this brand has completely won me over. I'm not one to experiment/dabble in "niche" brands, but I'm really enjoying this little hiatus from my comfort zone. The colors and textures of these eye shadows are nothing short of genius. Naturally, I had to order a couple more.

Delicate Hummingbird and Unforgettable Oriole are just as I thought they'd be; gorgeous. I'm really looking forward to mixing them up/experimenting with different color concoctions. In terms of the lip products, I can already tell you that I'm really impressed with the Sip of Pink Shimmering Luxe Balm. I slapped it on right after the video. And, you know what? It was "shimmering" and felt very "luxe". It's like a glowing gloss and treatment, all in one. The lipsticks? I'm still clueless as to how Raw Silence and Nothing Unknown will shake out. I'm assuming I will love them, as everything else has been nothing short of stellar.

Speaking of stellar, one of my super cool YT subscribers messaged me last night, informing me of Zuneta.com's 20% off sale, which applies to all brands sold on their site. The code is "ELLE20" and is valid until February 28th! She was unsure of how long the code lasted, but the lovely blogger, Perilously Pale, made a post regarding the sale, noting the duration of the code.

I pounced right after I got the message and ordered Angelic Cockatiels eye shadow and the blushes in Delicata and Gracilis. I've been trolling the site for weeks and weeks, hoping for Solstice Halcyon eye shadow to re-appear. You can rest assured that said trolling will continue on until that shadow is in my crazy mitts. #trolling
