Blog Sale Update: MAC Pigments

Blog Sale Update: Lipstick Bonanza

I'm at the over capacity point with my lipstick hoarding collection, so I thought it was due time to release the non-used or ignored shades back into the wild. I've also added a couple MAC blushes, BNIB MAC Snowglobe Beauty Powder, as well as a fragrance. There are still some miscellaneous eye products, too. Hopefully, you guys see something that strikes your interest/tickles your fancy. "Tickles your fancy"? That's such an odd phrase. I still miss the '90s, in a weird way. Mostly, I miss the sloppy "I don't give any effs" garb and righteous tunes. "Righteous"? I'm on a roll today. #weirdo

Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick 316 Incognito

Aside from the Dior Addict Ultra Glosses, there haven't been any "wow" moments for me, with any other Dior lip products. This particular lipstick was a total surprise. It's from the new Addict Extreme range, which looks Grandma in the tube, party on the lips. 

I would describe 316 Incognito as a slightly mauve-toned, natural nude. It's kind of like MAC Blankety, but sheer and not gross looking (sorry, if you love Blankety). It's the perfect color when you want a little something demure and sophisticated, but nothing particularly noticeable/obvious. The texture is so smooth and creamy, without sliding all over the place. 

If I had any cautionary words going into this lipstick range, it would be to be ("be to be"?? ..whatever) aware that a lot of the shades within the Addict Extremes are quite sheer. Some of the brighter shades, like Riviera and Lucky, look fun and intense in the tube, but too transparent and lack-lustre on le trap (from my experience).
